Featured project: BGHeute
BGHeute is a data-driven LegalTech project for the automated collection and analysis of decisions by the German Federal Court of Justice (Bundesgerichtshof or BGH). It combines web scraping, PDF text extraction, and AI-powered evaluation to structure judicial decisions. The goal is to make current BGH case law efficiently searchable and easily accessible to legal professionals, students, and other interested users. Developers and researchers can access the open REST API to work with the data processed by BGHeute.
BGHeute makes it easy and engaging for visitors to explore BGH decisions and gain initial insights into statistical analyses of the Court’s work.
